The agrarian committee recommends to extend the validity of the land moratorium

The Agrarian Committee recommends that the Draft Law No. 9355-5 be adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as a basis and as a whole.
At its meeting on December 18, the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations considered sixteen bills on the extension of the moratorium on the sale of agri.
Following the discussion of the bills, the Committee decided to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to adopt the draft Law of Ukraine on amendments to Section X “Transitional Provisions” of the Land Code of Ukraine on extension of the prohibition on the alienation of agricultural land (Reg. No. 9355-5 dated 04.12.2018) as a basis and in general as a law.cultural land, as stated on the website of the Committee.
The purpose of this bill is to extend the moratorium on sale or other means of alienation of agricultural land for one year, which will allow to regulate during this time at the legislative level the procedure for the circulation of agricultural land and develop the necessary legal acts for the introduction of agricultural land into economic circulation./Agrarоnews/
